In Family Time, Travel/Arizona

Now through September 2, 2019 you can check out the world’s largest collection of real mummies and related artifacts from across the globe, during Mummies of the World – The Exhibition only at the Arizona Science Center.

I recently explored the exhibit and to say it was interesting would be an understatement – mesmerized or hypnotized are words better suited to describe the experience. It is pretty surreal and almost humbling to be amongst all of the artifacts and relics, some dating back more than 3,000 years.

Visitors will see mummies from ancient Egypt as well as some more recent but equally fascinating artifacts, like an entire family found mummified in a hidden crypt in Hungary.

The exhibit was educational, easy to follow along and engaging — definitely worth a visit.

The Arizona Science Center is located at 600 E. Washington St. Phoenix, AZ 85004
