It’s no secret to anyone who knows me or has even just glanced at my IG or FB profiles, I am raising a girly girl. Miss Jax is a mermaid, princess, diva queen with a little rock star mixed in and she is ready to take over the world! Her world is pink and she loves make-believe, magic and make-up. So it’s no surprise she would fall in love with Girly Girlz in Scottsdale, a fun girly boutique offering tea parties, makeovers, trinkets and all things glamorous.
My girly girl and I were recently invited to explore all the fabulous fun Girly Girlz offers. It was amazing!
Upon entering the boutique Jax was immediately taken with all the finery and trinkets. Mermaids, fairies, unicorns and everything her whimsical heart could desire were out on display. They came as plush toys, embroidered on bags and pajamas, emblazoned on tea sets. There was fun jewelry, craft kits, make-up sets and more! Jax’s eyes widened and squeals escaped at every turn. She was truly in little girl heaven. I agreed we could buy one special trinket or toy after the event had concluded.
Jax was treated to a mini-makeover where she had her hair, make-up and nails done. It was such a fun treat for her, she beamed the entire time. Girls have their choice of hairstyles to choose from – princess hair, rockstar hair, cheerleader hair, cowgirl hair and more. Each style is a braid or an up-do and comes with a themed accessory. Jax chose Hula Hair, a fun twisty braid that wrapped around the crown of her head and was accessorized with a tropical flower clip. It was adorable. She loved it so much and was devastated when she found out Hula Hair did not last forever.
Of course the mini divas had the chance to showcase their new ‘do’s and sassy make-overs with an on-stage performance. It was absolutely precious to see them strutting their stuff, dancing and singing for their parents.
Girly Girlz also offers the cutest tea parties that can either be groups for a special occasion, like a birthday or just a mom and daughter day out. The tea parties include three sweet courses and pink “tea” (lemonade) all served in delicate china and girls are welcomed to pick out jewels and boas to fancy things up!
Girly Girlz is the perfect place to take your daughters, granddaughters, nieces, etc. this summer! In fact, they even offer summer camps. Each session is five days long, from 10am-2pm. You will definitely find Jax at Girly Girlz this summer. She has been begging me to take her back for Hula Hair.
