In Dining Out

dishitout-flame_logo-288x300On a warm fall evening in October over 3,000 hungry Arizonans converged on High Street for one of the Valley’s best culinary events, Dish It Out.

In support of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix $255k was raised at the event that brought together over 60 restaurants serving up their signature dishes. Live entertainment kept the good times rolling and four of the Valley’s top chef’s went head to head in a battle to help knock out childhood hunger.

The culinary showdown was hosted by Bruce St. James and Pamela Hughes from KTAR and was judges included culinary enthusiast and award winning food writer, Christina Barrueta and James Beard Award-winning chef, Robert McGrath. A three-part battle ensued and the man left standing was reigning champ, Chris McKinley of Chico Malo and the Culture Shock Restaurant Group.

Another favorite! These scallops from A Different Point of View were tender and perfectly delicious. A decadent offering at a taste event!
