Jax and I made so many fabulous memories over summer break and one of our favorite is of our morning at Sardella’s Pizza Camp!
The local pizza joint offered several days of the morning camp at all of their Valley locations; but don’t worry, even though summer is over, there are still opportunities to get in on the saucy, cheesey fun. Sardella’s is considering offering the camps over school breaks and you can always book a private camp for birthday celebrations, filed trips and group gatherings.
Camp participants get a behind-the-scenes tour of the restaurant, play with dough, learning to toss and stretch it, and then they will make their own pizza to eat and enjoy! Drinks and endless fun are included.
The camp lasts an hour and a half and parents are invited to either drop their kids off or stay and watch. I chose to stay and joined Jax in the fun.
She loved playing with the dough and did a pretty good job tossing and stretching it. She may just have a future as a pizza chef!
The best part, of course, was making her own pizza. The kids get to make the pizza to their own liking and Jax wanted hers in a star shape, topped with cheese, pepperoni and black olives. She was so proud of her masterpiece, as were all the other kids with their pizza creations.
Sardella’s Pizza Camp was the perfect way to beat the summer heat and spend a fun morning playing with our food! We had such a fun morning and now I am considering signing up Jax’s Daisy Troupe for a private pizza camp.
