This is it! The final few days of the 5th Annual Cookie Dessert Challenge. If you haven’t had the chance to try all of the desserts yet, there is still time! Today’s blog post is dedicated to the rest of this year’s newcomers, rounding out our weekly installments and giving you the motivation necessary to get you and the family out to some of these restaurants before Feb. 28!
Overall, we had 14 new restaurants participate in this year’s Dessert Challenge to add to our total of more than two dozen restaurants altogether! Talk about a sugar coma! Each of the participating restaurants were tasked with creating an original dessert inspired by one of the Girl Scout Cookie flavors—Do-Si-Dos, Samoas, Tagalongs, Thin Mints, Trefoils, S’mores and Savannah Smiles.
Each of the participating restaurants agreed to feature their dessert through the entire month of February with a portion of the proceeds from each dessert sold directly supporting Girl Scouting in Arizona.
Without further ado, here are the final eight desserts you need to try!
Aioli Burger
Dessert Designer: Thomas D’Ambrosio
Assigned Cookie: Tagalongs
Dessert: Tagalong ~ You’re It ~ Premier Milk Shake – This milkshake includes chocolate and Tahitian vanilla bean ice creams, a decadent amount of Tagalong cookies with swirls of Dulce de Leche caramel and peanut butter.

Assigned Cookie: Trefoils
Dessert: Trefoil Meyer Lemon Tart – This dessert incorporates locally-produced Meyer lemons, and Trefoil cookies to make a rich, butter shortbread crust with caramelized white chocolate and Italian-style meringue.

Dessert: Pura Vida Cheesecake – This Costa Rican-inspired treat is a sopapilla made with Trefoils, vanilla, almonds and drizzled with caramel.

Dessert: Jessie’s Delight – This dessert truly is a delight! It’s made with Do-Si-Do cookies, chocolate pudding, crushed peanut butter chocolate and whipped cream.

Dessert: Claire’s Badge – Market Street Kitchen’ s version of a crispy pate a choux puff pastry filled with Samoa cookie crème and topped with chocolate ganache and crumbled Samoa cookies.

Dessert: Pineapple Samoas Cheesecake – Like an island in the sun, this pineapple cheesecake will make you feel incredible! It is made with a Samoa cookie crust and crumbled cookies in the actual cheesecake. A full Samoa cookie tops this cheesecake along with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
