Prost! Cheers to the upcoming AZ festival season which pretty much kicks off with SanTan Brewing Oktoberfest! On September 29, thousands will converge onto the streets of Downtown Chandler to imbibe, devour, browse and play!
Dozens and dozens of vendors will be on hand peddling wares, beers, and brats. I’m most looking forward to Brat Haus, for an oversized pretzel and a juicy brat! And I can’t wait to see the Weiner Man races, but if grown men dressed as wienies doesn’t tickle your fancy, the adorable Weiner Dog races will. Other Beer Games include keg stacking, corn hole, stein holding and a brat eating contest.
Live music for the day will be provided by Ken Levine’s Funkhaus Brass Band, Black Moods, Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers and 2 Tone Lizard Kings.
I recently visited Brat Haus to build my excitement for SanTan Oktoberfest and I can’t wait to hit up their booth at the event. Their pretzel is perfection, salty, soft and chewy.
