The biggest hit of pretty much any party is dessert – be it cake, cookies, pie or any sweet morsel. Jax’s recent pumpkin patch party was no exception – it included cute monster pudding cups, candy but the pièce de résistance where the Fairytale Brownies I gussied up to look like mini pumpkin patches and tiny graveyards. They were so cute and delicious and served as a focal point not only for the buffet but to the entire party!
And they’re so simple. Brownies + Green Icing + Candy = Adorable Edible Centerpieces.
Using Fairytale Brownies was perfect. First of all, you don’t have to do any baking yourself, so no stressing over recipes, or clean-up, just open the individually wrapped goodies and get to decorating. Next, they are the perfect size, so no fussing over cutting even pieces or worrying about texture or consistency. Lastly, they taste great, perfectly chewy, fudge and divine. Plus, they come in all sorts of flavors, so you can offer guests variety. I opted to use original, caramel and chocolate chip because they offered the best surface to decorate.
The mellow creme pumpkins and Peeps headstones fit perfectly on each little fudge scene. Then I simply laid them out on a serving platter and DONE! 15 minutes (max) of time and effort and my sweet Halloween centerpieces were ready.
The holiday season is just weeks away so you should consider making Fairytale Brownies your new bestie. You could use the brownies to create a cute edible winter scene with some powdered sugar for snow and some candy cane trees (idea for an upcoming blog post!).
A gift box of brownies, blondies and/or cookies would make an ideal hostess gift and they are perfect for giving to that impossible to shop for relative that every single one of us has.
