Early in my pregnancy I knew I was going to get my baby in swim lessons as early as possible. In Arizona, where every other house has a backyard pool, I wanted my daughter to be comfortable in the water and give her skills and confidence that will last a lifetime.
Jax began swim lessons as an infant. Before she could even crawl, she could hold her breath under water and back float. Before she was two years-old she could swim across the pool and now she is working on perfecting her breast stroke. At only 5 years old she is a more skilled swimmer than me and her dad.
Much of her confidence and many of her skills came thanks to the wonderful instructors at Aqua-Tots Swim Schools.
Jacquelyn started Aqua-Tots already knowing how to swim. The staff offered us a trial lesson to gauge her skill level and placed her accordingly. We’ve loved Aqua-Tots; they have helped her hone her skills and build upon what she already knew, introducing new strokes and techniques when she was ready.
I love watching my little mermaid blossom in the water and I appreciate the kindness and knowledge the staff has shared with me and Jax.
Aqua-Tots has many locations throughout the greater Phoenix area. They offer lessons for all ages – from parent and child classes for infants as young as 4 months-old to more advanced swimmers with a swim club and a swim team. Class sizes are small so each child and their parents get the most out of each lesson.
Learning to swim is a fun, life-changing skill that builds confidence both in and outside the pool. With summer upon us there is no better time than now to get your children enrolled in swim lessons.
Disclaimer: Jax was given one month of free lessons at Aqua-Tots in exchange for this post. As usual, all opinions are entirely my own.
