A few nights ago Miss Jacquelyn had a night where her daddy was all hers. He took her on a daddy daughter date and I spent the evening with a friend. I came home a few hours later to a giddy baby girl. I swear I had never seen her so happy.
They went to Home Depot (oh, the joy)! He swore Jax was perfectly well behaved in the aisles of tools and not very fun stuff. That little twerp gives me a hard time at Toys-R-Us! But for her daddy she loves Home Depot. Go figure.
Such a daddy’s girl.
After their tool run they went to Peter Piper Pizza where he said she waited patiently for the food to arrive, ate all her pizza and didn’t chuck food at him or anyone else. I don’t get such sweetness in public from her. I get impatient shrieks, occasional tantrums and by the time the meal is over I’m picking pepperoni out of my hair and my clothes bear more than a few splatters.
Daddy’s girl, I tell ya!
They finished out the evening playing in the game area and Jax stayed steadfast by his side. I’d be chasing her all around. He said she only griped a little when the tokens ran out and it was time to go. I’d have gotten an epic fit, complete with screams, kicks and rolling on the floor.
Jax loves her daddy. They are so fortunate to have each other.
Oh, how precious is that to have that Daddy-daughter time together.
Those are simply the sweetest pictures! You have a little doll there… so cute!
Wishing you a lovely day.
