It’s that time of year again — Girl Scout Cookie season! And while that definitely means binging on a sleeve of Thin Mints it also signals the start of the 5th Annual Girl Scout Cookie Challenge. Girl Scouts – Arizona Cactus-Pine Council’s 5th Annual Girl Scout Cookie Dessert Challenge is back! And it starts today! Chefs from some of the state’s most popular restaurants have used their culinary prowess to re-image one of the beloved flavors of Girl Scout Cookies – Do-Si-Dos, Samoas, Tagalongs, Thin Mints, Trefoils, S’mores and Savannah Smiles into a custom dessert menu item.
Each restaurant has agreed to feature its dessert on their menu from Feb. 1-28, with a portion of the proceeds from each dessert sold directly supporting Girl Scouting in Arizona.
But where can you find all of these delicious desserts? Have no fear, I’ll be posting weekly on the various locations participating in this year’s Dessert Challenge.
To start, today’s blog post is dedicated to the four restaurants that are now ranked among the prestigious “Five Timers Club.” These venues have been with the Dessert Challenge from the beginning and are once again bringing all they have to this year’s challenge!
