First off, here’s a little bit about Influenster straight from their website: “a community of trendsetters, social media masterminds and educated consumers who live to give opinion of products and experiences.” 

Because I love trying knew products and sharing my opinions/experiences you can imagine my delight when I was notified that I qualified for the Influenster Spring VoxBox. Holy cow did I feel spoiled and lucky when I opened my package of goodies.

Here’s what I got:

Playtex Sport Fresh Balance. These really could not have arrived at a better time of the month (if you know what I mean). They are a different brand of tampon then I usually use but I really liked them. The FlexFit technology of these tampons makes them ideal for those who lead active lifestyles. I do spend quite a bit of time in the pool and these tampons provided the leak protection I need. They had a light and pleasant scent that was in no way overpowering or noticeable, the reason I’ve avoided scented tampons in the past. I was sent the regular absorbency and never had any leaks when I used them (ew – TMI?) so as stated before, the protection with these is great! Retail price: $3.99-$4.99.

Kiss Everlasting French Nails. Artificial nails. I know, right? That is exactly what I thought when I saw the package. I have never used fake nails in my adult life and when I dabbled in them as a pre-teen, they looked tacky and never lasted more than a day. But for the sake of experimenting, I decided to give these a chance. Let me tell you, DIY artificial nails have come a long, long way since I was 12 years old! Kiss Everlasting French Nails were easy to put on, just apply the glue and press them into place. I was sent the “real short” length which works well for my lifestyle of chasing a toddler. They stayed on for well over a week and stayed neat and clean looking. If I ever need to have fancy looking hands for a special occasion I will go the Kiss Everlasting French Nail route! Retail price: $6.49.

Long, defined lashes after using Rimmel London Scandaleyes Retro Glam mascara.

Rimmel London Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara. One of my favorite items in the Spring Fling VoxBox. I definitely found my new favorite mascara. This mascara featured a unique hour-glass shaped brush that allowed for even application and separation for awesome lash definition. It didn’t clump and lasted throughout the day! With a suggested retail price of $5.99 it’s a steal compared to high-end, luxury brand mascaras that claim to offer similar benefits. I LOVE this mascara and will definitely be adding it to my cosmetic arsenal.

Softlips Cube. My ABSOLUTE favorite item of the Spring Fling VoxBox. First off it comes in the cutest little container – so fun and unique. But the packaging is secondary to how amazing this stuff is. It goes on smooth and light and doesn’t leave lips feeling overly lubed or greasy. It smells divine – I received the Pomegranate Blueberry scent and it tasted yummy too. I live in a dry, dry, scorching hot climate and my lips are forever chapped – Softlips Cube has provided wondrous relief. Now my lips always feel smoothe and moisturized. Love, love, LOVE this product! Here’s an added bonus, I am a collector of lip balms, always on the search for a good one and my toddler daughter likes to eat them; because of the unique shape of the Softlips Cube she hasn’t figured out that it’s lip balm, thus hasn’t eaten it. Score!!  I actually have lip balm when I need it now! And what a bargain at only $3.49.

Nivea Skin Firming Hydration Body Lotion. I am a long-time fan of Nivea products and this body lotion definitely didn’t change my devotion to the brand. It absorbs quickly and leaves skin looking and feeling smooth and radiant. It has a light and pleasing fragrance that didn’t overpower or compete with my perfume. As far as firming goes I will have to keep using it to give feedback in that regard. I was given a small 2.5 ounce bottle that lasted less than a week (dry climate calls for frequent moisturizing throughout the day). After using this product I’m more of a Nivea fan! This lotion will set you back $2.49 for a 2.5 ounce bottle or $10.99 for a 13.5 ounce bottle.

My Influenster VoxBox also included a promotional air freshener for the home entertainment release of the movie Labor Day (an excellent chick flick). The freshener was cute, shaped like a pie and smelled delightful!
