I had the opportunity to try out the Ingenuity Baby Base 2-in-1 infant/child booster seat.
This seat is AMAZING and I am disappointed we did not get one when Jax was younger. We had another brand of floor seat, which my daughter never liked sitting in; and a separate booster chair. The Ingenuity Baby Base 2-in-1 is BOTH!
Talk about more bang for your buck. You won’t need to purchase a floor seat and a booster chair for the table – you may not even want to buy a high chair because this seat will serve as all three.
I have an adorably chubby cherub and this seat is great because the padded foam insert easily comes right out to give my girl comfort and space.
The seat straps onto a chair or stool (it must have a back) through the seat bottom and the back for a safety and security, you can rest assured your little one is not going any where. The straps are adjustable so it will likely fit just about any flat-seated chair. We use ours for our high top table and we scoot Miss Jax right up to it so she can dine with us. The tray makes snack-time a breeze and it’s outfitted with a cup rest. A fantastic feature on this seat is the tray storage compartment underneath.
You can remove the straps and use the Baby Base as a floor seat too!
As I was saying, I’m bummed I did not find the Ingenuity Baby Base 2-in-1 sooner, it would have saved me some dough and just purchased the one system! But I am happy that we have it now! It’s recommended for ages 4 months through 4 years so we will get use out of it for a few more years to come.
Check out this video of Jacquelyn enjoying her snack in the Ingenuity Baby Base 2-in-1.
You can find it for purchase here. It comes in a lovely aqua or a vibrant magenta as you see here.
I was not financially compensated to write this review. I was provided an Ingenuity Baby Base 2-in-1 for review purposes. All opinions stated here are entirely my own.
This is a very dangerous baby seat. With the tray in front of the kid, this thing is very unstable and easily tumbles forward causing your child to fall right on its head…!
Hi! Thanks for your input. We have been using this seat for well over a year now with no issues whatsoever. It straps securely both in the back and underneath the chair. We rarely used the tray at all, just simply pushed my daughter right up to the table to enjoy meals with us, but even with the tray the seat is securely attached to the chair so no chance of her falling off. It ranks pretty high on safety reviews as well.
Our seat has a little tab that pops out at the front when you pull out the tray and we have had no issues with tipping or falling forward. We have yet to stay it to a chair and have only used it on the floor. I think it’s awesome. No need for a space hogging high chair.
