Beer for Brains – Epicuriad Food, Craft Beer & Wine Pairing Event

The Beer for Brains Epicuriad Spring 2019 Food, Craft Beer & Wine Pairings Event is a showcase of 20 Valley chefs crafting gourmet food paired with craft beer and wine to compete for the Gold!

Attendees will sample dishes at each chef station and tally their pairing preferences and then vote for their favorite in two categories, “Best Pairing,” based on the preference of the dish with craft beer or wine, and “Best Entrée,” based on taste and presentation.

At the end of the evening, a gold, silver and bronze medal will be awarded to the top three winning chefs. During the main event, there will be an exciting VIP face-off between two award-winning celebrity chefs, where a flip of the coin will determine who cooks with craft beer or wine, and they will have thirty-five minutes to create a delicious entrée using the spirits and ingredients provided. A panel of judges will vote to choose the winner of the competition.

Attendees will enjoy entertainment from Valley band, The Desert Dawgs, and silent auction tables. All spirits are generously donated to the event and we are grateful to announce our partnership with the Hensley Beverage Company to support our fundraising efforts to help find a cure for brain cancer. “Hensley Beverage Company is proud to donate the beer for the Epicuriad in honor of Senator John McCain.” – Bob Delgado, CEO. Since 2010, Beer for Brains has been raising funds through unique large-scale craft beer fundraising events for brain tumor research.  They are now bringing their community events and fundraising into Head for the Cure Foundation as an additional program to raise awareness, funds and hope for the brain tumor community.
